Special events such as graduation or engagement parties can be photographed in the styles of photojournalism, formal or candid.  Each style comes with its own set of challenges vs. rewards and require some prior planning (especially the formal shots).

For example to photograph your wedding, I would need to visit the site prior to the date so I can test & plan your shots ahead of time.  Below are some samples of my work:
