Generally I operate with studio lighting & backdrops for portraits.  However, utilizing only the daylight & natural atmosphere will also produce charming results.  I use photo editing software in post-processing your images for the best results possible.

A variety of technical skills are required in taking good quality portraits through the lens.  However in my opinion, none of those technical skills will help with the main goal of a good portrait photo which is to "capture the essence of the subject".

The photographer needs to create a good mood & rapport so that you feel at ease with the camera.  This is vital to identify the best features in each person and play them up in the shots.  Below are some samples of my work:
